Voting Information
The referendum is an important community decision.
There are three ways to vote:
Vote in person on Election Day
Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5. Polling locations are the same as for the general election. Use the MN Secretary of State’s pollfinder to find your polling place.
Vote early via absentee ballot
Request an absentee ballot by submitting the absentee ballot application found here. Once you have completed and submitted your application, an absentee ballot will be mailed to you.
Completed absentee ballots can be mailed or returned in person to the Sherburne County Auditor’s Office, 13880 Business Center Drive NW, Elk River, MN 55330.
Vote early in person
Early in-person voting will be available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. beginning Friday, September 20, at the Sherburne County Auditor’s Office, 13880 Business Center Drive NW, Elk River, MN 55330.
